Great for both skin and hair, neem oil is rich in fatty acids, limonoids, vitamin E, triglycerides, antioxidants and calcium. Neem oil is a natural byproduct of the neem tree, a type of evergreen. The oil is pressed from the tree’s fruits and seeds.
Authors of a 2013 review of the available research into uses of neem concluded that its extracts can help treat a variety of skin conditions, including:

- psoriasis
- eczema
- ringworm
- warts
